Acai Bowls

One of our favorite family breakfasts that my kids always look forward to is Acai bowls. They are so refreshing, especially on a warm summer morning.

Recipe:

Acai puree:

4 unsweetened açaí puree packs (run them under warm water for a few seconds to make blending easier)

1 cup of almond milk

1/4 cup honey

2 bananas

Topping:

-Fresh sliced strawberries, blueberries, bananas, pineapple, raspberries, peaches, watermelon, cherries, nectarines, kiwi, etc.!

-Granola

-Shredded Coconut

-Slivered almonds or chopped nuts

-Whatever your heart desires (chocolate chips, nut butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds, etc.)

Instructions:

*Blend all puree ingedients together in blender until smooth. Pour into bowls and top with all the good stuff!
